Orientation Email Communications

Orientation will communicate with new students by email from the time they confirm their enrollment through their first quarter at Seattle University. Below you will find an archive of emails sent to incoming students based on their entry quarter and type (first-year or transfer).

This list only reflects emails that Orientation has sent to all new students, and is not a comprehensive list of all emails or text reminders you will receive from Seattle University. It does not include emails sent to you by other departments. It also doesn’t include confirmation or reminder emails for specific programs and events that require you to sign up.

Checking Your Email:
As a student, you should check your email multiple times every day because it is the primary way Seattle University will communicate with you. Initially, you will be sent emails to both your personal email on file with Undergraduate Admissions and your Seattle University email address. Once your first quarter begins, you should only receive emails to your Seattle University email address.

  • If you need to update your personal email on file with Undergraduate Admissions, contact your Admissions Counselor or the Admissions Office at (206) 220-8040 or admissions@takechargesummit.com. This is especially important if your email is from your high school or another college/university and may expire.
